California!!!

Well in August we were able to take a family trip (my WHOLE family!) to California. Heidi my sister, and her cute family live in Pasadena so we were able to spend time with them as well! It was a great break from Utah and an even better break for Greg. Pharmacy school is very time consuming, alot of work and alot of brain power so I was so happy that Greg could come with us!
(LOTS of pictures)
Bracken's first plane ride! He did so good!!

Just had to take this picture!
Such a cute little boy on a what looks like a "HUGE couch!"

All the boys waiting for the girlies to get ready! They're so picked on! (Greg was making a bottle)

Spent a day at Sea World in San Diego! It was alot of fun!!!

Two little cousins getting spoiled by Nana and Papa with Sea World Dolphins!

Their favorite aunt! Shay loves these little squirts!

Random picture in the Rapids dryers that cost $5 just to get you dry!
Good thing the Rapids ride was closed that day!

LOVE the Shamu Show!! Favorite part of Sea World!
Greg and I took a City Bus tour in LA. It was alot of fun!

One of the tours was the movie stars homes in Beverly Hills.

Katie Holmes and Tom Cruise Home

Dr. Phil's Home at one time

Bracken is such a good sport!

AHH! My favorite two boys!!

I couldn't just walk by this store..I had to go in!
American girl was my FAVORITE when I was little!!

Bracken is pooped! He's been so good keeping up with us and hardly fussed at all!

You can't really see it in this picture but the Hollywood sign is right behind us on the mountain.

Took Greg to the Ronald Reagen Library, he loved it!
If you get the chance, I totally recommend it!

Greg and Bracken in front of Air Force one. The tour was great and interesting.

Met up with one of my friends from college who is serving in the Arcadia Mission.
It was great to see her!!!

As you can see, we had a blast! I LOVE vacations and have beggin Greg for quite some time to go somewhere! It's always nice to come home and get settled in your own place again...especially when you have a little one!!

2 Year Anniversary!

August 6, 2011 was our two year anniversary. We cannot believe we've been married two years already but what a blessing it has been! We were in California for our anniversary so we got to do something a little different, which was a blast!
My siblings watched Bracken at the hotel while we went out on a nice romantic date.

We went to dinner on the bay of the Newport beach at a restaurant called "Rusty Pelican". It was delicious!!! I've never had garlic bread as good as that, WOW is all I can say!

I ordered Prime Rib, scrumptious!

Greg ordered Mahi Mahi, the fish was SOO fresh!

They surprised us with a mudd pie to celebrate!

So the plan was to go to the beach and walk along the beach since we were in California and all but the wind was blowing so hard at the beach that it was not much fun and it was freezing! So we decided to walk around the Newport temple grounds.

We had each written a letter to each other and here is where we read them to each other. It was a pretty special moment!

I am the luckiest girl in the world to be married to Greg. I couldn't have asked for a better husband and for sure a better father to Bracken. After two years I am still in awe of my eternal companion! He's my best friend, the love of my life and such a stud!!! Love you Greg!!

Summer Fun!

Well it sure has been alot of fun this summer with a new edition to our family! Everything is just a little bit sweeter and a little bit more exciting! Here are some pictures from our fun summer so far!
We went to Bear Lake to go camping with my family and this was Bracken's bed in the trailor. It was alot of fun!!

Bracken and Uncle Trev were good buds...as you can tell!
Bracken chillin with Papa and Nana at Uncle Trev's baseball game.

We were headed to Tabiona, UT from Bear Lake, Idaho and the drive was GORGEOUS!! Greg and I enjoyed the beautiful drive!

Greg and I had driven four hours and were just an 10 miles away from Tabiona (where Greg's extended family reunion was) and the GPS took us through through the mountain which would have been a great idea but we drove 30 minutes to find the road was closed due to flooding! I couldn't believe it. So we took a detour on the GPS which took us another 15 miles on a rocky dirt road to a road that no longer exist. After getting frustrated, starving and a trooper of a baby we were ready to be at our destination! After a 1.5 hour detour and 6 hours driving, we finally made it to the Family reunion!!! We were so glad we made it!
At the family reunion we canoe'd and enjoyed paddle boats with all the cousins.

Bracken enjoyed a walk to the pond and loved spending time outdoors.
Our little family!

On Pioneer Day we went to the top of the hill by the Draper Temple and watched all the fireworks. GORGEOUS view!!

Trevor and Shay came to visit for a week since my Mom and Chelsi were in California so they came to party it up with us so they didn't have to stay at home all day and be bored.

We took them to Bee's game and we all had a great time...even tho we got rained on!

Trev had a blast!!

Aunt Shay read with Bracken, it was the cutest thing ever! He's so interested!!!

As you can see we've had a great summer so far and can't wait for our trip to California!!!

4th of July Weekend!

This year we spent the fourth with Greg's family in Midway. It sure was alot of fun...especially since we have a little one to spend it with.
We learned this weekend that Bracken loves to be outdoors and doesn't want to sleep when there's a party going on!!

Bracken sure loves his Daddy!!

Stadium of Fire!

Yes David Archuleta performed!

And my favorite country singer...Brad Paisley!

Dancers in the shape of the Liberty Bell.
The Stadium of Fire was an absolute blast! Thanks to my husband for giving me these tickets for Easter...it was perfect!!

Bracken is ready for his first 4th of July!

Going on a walk in the hot sun!

We hope you all had a fun and safe Independence Day. May we all remember those who are fighting for our country and truly appreciate the freedoms we enjoy!

Blessing Day

Bracken was blessed on June 5, 2011 in our ward in Draper. Greg did a great job on the blessing...very spiritual and a neat experience. We were fortunate to have a great turn out of family and friends share this special experience with us. Our Bishop said that's the biggest circle they've seen in this ward...16 men stood in and we didn't even ask everyone.
The blessing was beautiful and made me sit and ponder how blessed we are to have a little healthy baby boy. The Spirit was so strong in that sacrament meeting, I'll never forget that day.
Thanks to all helped make this day so special!
Getting ready for his big day!

He was a good sport while Nana and I got him ready!
Handsome as ever! The tux was a little big for him.
All dressed and ready!!!

After the blessing, Aunt Susan was kind enough to open up her home to us and all our family and friends came for a yummy dutch oven dinner made by Papa Boyd.
Here are some pictures after the blessing.

So precious!!!
