Happy Halloween!

This Halloween was alot of fun all because little Bracken is now with us!!! I'm not a real fan of Halloween but I think I'm going to enjoy it just a little more now because it's a holiday especially for kids! We didn't go trick-or-treating of course because we'd have to eat all the candy and that's probably not a good idea since I'm trying to lose baby weight.

Bracken was a little cow for Halloween!

He did NOT want to touch the leaves. It was hilarious. He would eat them but didn't want to lay on them...I didn't get it.

At our ward Christmas party we dressed up. As you can see, the lamb, cow, and the farmer.

Now he's wiped out but we won "Most Original Costume" at our ward party. It was alot of fun!

We had a fun Halloween and are actually excited for next year. Bracken will be able to understand it and go trick or treating!

Happy Birthday Greg!!

Happy Birthday to my dear husband!!! His birthday was Saturday and we celebrated it over three days. Friday we went "Glow-in-dark" miniture golfing and enjoyed a nice dinner at Tacanos with Greg's family.

While we were there Greg got to open his big gift from me, 2 tickets to the BYU-Utah game. He was SUPER excited!!!

Saturday morning, we just hung out with our little family and opened presents and had cupcakes and icecream. :)

Greg tried to teach Bracken how to open presents.....

But he just ate the paper instead.

Greg wanted cupcakes for his birthday so we had yummy cupcakes and chocolate chip mint icecream..Greg's favorite.

We're ready for game day!!! We took little Bracken to Papa and Nana's and then we were off for some fun!!!

We were really excited for the game. Yes the cougars let us down but it was still fun to be there and be a part of the excitement!

We learned that the National Guard literally runs the game ball from the U down to Provo and vise versa, pending on who plays at home that year. I thought that was pretty cool.

I hope Greg had a great birthday! He sure deserves it and we were so glad we could spend so much time with him.

He weighed 7 lbs 7 oz and was 21 inches long

California!!!

Well in August we were able to take a family trip (my WHOLE family!) to California. Heidi my sister, and her cute family live in Pasadena so we were able to spend time with them as well! It was a great break from Utah and an even better break for Greg. Pharmacy school is very time consuming, alot of work and alot of brain power so I was so happy that Greg could come with us!

As you can see, we had a blast! I LOVE vacations and have beggin Greg for quite some time to go somewhere! It's always nice to come home and get settled in your own place again...especially when you have a little one!!

2 Year Anniversary!

August 6, 2011 was our two year anniversary. We cannot believe we've been married two years already but what a blessing it has been! We were in California for our anniversary so we got to do something a little different, which was a blast!

My siblings watched Bracken at the hotel while we went out on a nice romantic date.

We went to dinner on the bay of the Newport beach at a restaurant called "Rusty Pelican". It was delicious!!! I've never had garlic bread as good as that, WOW is all I can say!

I ordered Prime Rib, scrumptious!

Greg ordered Mahi Mahi, the fish was SOO fresh!

They surprised us with a mudd pie to celebrate!

So the plan was to go to the beach and walk along the beach since we were in California and all but the wind was blowing so hard at the beach that it was not much fun and it was freezing! So we decided to walk around the Newport temple grounds.

We had each written a letter to each other and here is where we read them to each other. It was a pretty special moment!

I am the luckiest girl in the world to be married to Greg. I couldn't have asked for a better husband and for sure a better father to Bracken. After two years I am still in awe of my eternal companion! He's my best friend, the love of my life and such a stud!!! Love you Greg!!
